Andre “Coach Dre” Carnegie, Student Success Liaison in the Shawnee Mission School District, and Cameron, his elementary music teacher wife, will share about helping students rise above their trauma and circumstances. Coach Dre will share about his role as the Student Success Liaison, his work in the Shawnee Mission School District, and the success he’s had in changing the lives of children who have experienced trauma. Cameron will discuss the way building level teachers, even specialists, can support and continue that work. After hearing from Dre and Cameron, those that attend will be able to ask questions and participate in discussion. Attendees will be able to receive practical application tips, build their professional network, and leave feeling inspired.
