Bridging to Resilience 2019

Hear from parents and caregivers who are survivors of trauma and who have kiddos in public school. What do they need to better engage with educators? What has worked best for them as a parent/caregiver juggling both worlds? This will be a panel discussion of parents committed to bettering their futures and their children's futures - they will give stark insight to education as no one else can. The panelists are committed to being vulnerable and transparent to help all of us better reach our goals of creating “wins” for students on the margins. There will be time for questions from the audience.
